Summary

The OmniPageOCR80.msm merge module included with SDK 8.0 may not be fully compatible with the Windows Installer XML (WiX) toolset or Visual Studio 6.

Workaround 1

Use a different setup environment. The merge module should function correctly when used with InstallShield, InstallAware, Visual Studio 2005, and Visual Studio 2008.

Workaround 2

Distribute the runtime installation that is included as part of the SDK.
