When using automatic Windows authentication, you may receive a Permission Denied error even though Web Access or WebLink are hosted on the same computer as the Laserfiche Server.
Manually add the Web Server host name to a browser's list of trusted sites.
Internet Explorer
- Load the Internet Options dialog box, and on the Security tab, add the Web Access or WebLink site to the list of Trusted Sites.
- Click Custom level for the Trusted sites security zone to view the Security Settings - Trusted Sites Zone dialog box.
- Scroll down and locate the User Authentication section. Under Logon, select the Automatic logon with current user name and password option.
- Click OK to save your changes.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
Firefox
- In the URL bar, type the following to load Firefox's configuration page:
about:config
- Locate the preference:
network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris
- Add the name of your web server.
