Summary

The Laserfiche 8.1.2 installation may not properly upgrade LFImage81.ocx if you have previously replaced the file with the hotfix version included in Knowledge Base article 1012536.

Workaround

After installing Laserfiche Client 8.1.2, manually delete LFImage81.ocx from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Controls" and then use the Windows Add or Remove Programs feature to repair the Laserfiche Client 8.1.2 installation.

Note: This procedure is only necessary if you require the fix listed in Knowledge Base article 1012557 as "The Laserfiche Client no longer displays a "Failed to load image. Unknown image format. [6604]" error message when using the Document Viewer to display documents with large image dimensions. (57329)."
