This article lists the issues resolved in hotfix 1012561 for the Web Access 8.1 SharePoint Integration. This fix includes the following files:
- WebPartManagement.exe (version 8.1.0.293)
- LF_WSS_Web_Service.dll (version 8.1.0.293)
- ExpirationActions\manifest.xml (Last Modified on February 24, 2010)
- ExpirationFormulas\manifest.xml (Last Modified on March 19, 2010)
LF_WSS_Web_Service.dll resolves the following issue:
- The Records Center Integration no longer displays a "Error in AsyncDoSubmit" message when sending a document to an existing path when the Records Center Integration is installed on a non-English version of Microsoft Windows. (57264)
WebPartManagement.exe resolves the following issues:
- The Web Part Management Utility now correctly accounts for Windows system paths on non-English versions of Microsoft Windows. (56812)
- The Web Part Management Utility no longer displays a "Unable to run STSADM.exe" error message when used to configure a non-English version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Services installation. (56753)
- The Web Part Management Utility now allows you to specify a specific SharePoint site URL instead of always expecting "http://localhost." (46734)
The two updated manifest.xml files resolve the following issue:
- The SharePoint Integration now correctly supports custom expiration actions. (56666)
To update the Web Access 8.1 SharePoint Integration
- Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix files.

- Replace your existing version of WebPartManagement.exe in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche SharePoint Web Part" with the updated version.
- Replace your existing version of LF_WSS_Web_Service.dll in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche SharePoint Records Center\ImportService\bin" with the updated version.
- Replace the two manifest files with the updated versions. The zip file contains two folders with different manifest.xml files. Please replace the appropriate files at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\ExpirationPolicy\ExpirationActions" and "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\ExpirationPolicy\ExpirationFormulas."
- Manually run the InstallCustomPolicy.exe utility located in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\ExpirationPolicy.
