A Blank Error Message Occurs When Publishing an Agenda with Microsoft Word Attachments in Agenda Manager 8.

Summary

When publishing an agenda with Microsoft Word attachments, you may receive a blank error message box that contains an OK button. Clicking the OK button displays a second error message box that states:

    An error occurred during agenda packet creation.

Workaround

Agenda Manager 8.0.1 supports a registry value (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\AgendaManagerAddin\SavePrintSettings) that bypasses certain internal optional elements of the publishing process that can cause this issue.

To add the SavePrintSettings DWORD value

  1. On the workstation where the Word Add-in is installed, Click Start and click Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and click OK to load the Windows Registry Editor:
  3. regedit

  4. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
  5. Expand Software.
  6. Expand Laserfiche.
  7. Select the AgendaManagerAddin key.
  8. From the Edit menu, point to New and click DWORD Value.
  9. Name the new value:
  10. SavePrintSettings

  11. Double-click the SavePrintSettings value you created in the previous step and set the value to 0.
  12. Click OK to save your changes.
