When using a localized version of Quick Fields, a session's OmniPage OCR process may hang after processing 100 pages. This issue can occur when you install both the Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Quick Fields 8 Language Packs for the same corresponding language on the same computer.
There is a hotfix available for the OCR component. The fix is an updated version of OmniOCRWrapper81.dll (version 8.1.1.647).
To update Laserfiche 8.1.1 and Quick Fields 8
- Close any open instances of any Laserfiche client programs and make sure that BPOmniOCR81.exe is not running in the Windows Task Manager.
- Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix.

- Replace your existing version of OmniOCRWrapper81.dll with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, the file is located in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\BPOmniOCR16." On a 64-bit operating system, the file is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\BPOmniOCR16."
