The Default Properties Pane Does Not Display The Settings Tab When Using The Spanish Or Portuguese Version of Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.x.

Summary

When using the Spanish or Portuguese version of Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.x, the Default Properties pane may not display the Settings tab. This issue can occur when using the Spanish version of Laserfiche Scanning on all supported Windows operating systems . This issue only occurs on Windows Vista and Windows 7 when using the Portuguese version of Laserfiche Scanning.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for the Laserfiche 8.1 Spanish and Portuguese Language Packs. The fix includes updated versions of Laserfiche.BatchProcessor.resources.dll (version 8.1.0.530) and Scanning.Base.resources.dll (version 8.1.0.530).

To update the Language Pack

  1. Click one of the following links to download a zip file containing the fix for the appropriate Language Pack.
  2. Hotfix_SCR56365_Spanish.zip

  3. For the Spanish Language Pack, replace your existing version of Scanning.Base.resources.dll located in the "es" subfolder of your Laserfiche Scanning installation folder with the updated version. By default, the file is located in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client 8\Scanning\es."
  4. For the Portuguese Language Pack, replace your existing versions of Scanning.Base.resources.dll and Laserfiche.BatchProcessor.resources.dll located in the "pt" subfolder of your Laserfiche Scanning installation folder with the updated files. By default, the files are located in "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client 8\Scanning\pt."
