Summary

This article details hotfix 1012506 for Laserfiche client components 8.1.1. The fix includes the following files:

• LFSO81.dll (version 8.1.1.635)
• DocumentProcessor81.dll (version 8.1.1.635)

LFSO81.dll resolves the following issues:

• There is a potential memory leak when cloning a serialized connection. (56118)
• Laserfiche may not reliably generate briefcase files that are larger than 4 GB. This issue is resolved for users logged in as a Laserfiche user account. However, the issue still affects users logging in to Laserfiche through Windows authentication. (55790)

Documentprocessor81.dll resolves the following issues:

• DocumentImporter may not correctly import multi-page image files that contain both color/grayscale and black & white/monochrome pages. (55119)
• ListImporter now supports Unicode import list files. (54081)

Note: This fix does not affect how the Laserfiche Client handles import list files.

To update Laserfiche client components 8.1.1

1. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of LFSO. DocumentProcessor81 is only available as a 32-bit library.

Note: The Laserfiche Client is a 32-bit application and requires the 32-bit version of LFSO.

2. Replace your existing version of LFSO81.dll and DocumentProcessor81.dll with the updated versions included in the zip file. By default, the files are in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects." On a 64-bit version of Windows, the 32-bit libraries are located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects."
