See the following list of issues affecting all Web Access 8.1 Language Packs.

  • The Web Access 8.1 Language Packs do not support Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.1. If you already have Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.1 installed on your local workstation, a localized version of Web Access will still launch Scanning in English. (55726)
  • The error message "The document has no pages" is not localized. (55452)
  • Localized versions of Web Access does not support the "user must change password at next login" option set in the Laserfiche Administration Console. When such a user attempts to log in to Web Access, the Login page displays an error message notifying the user that the password is expired. (55395)
  • When doing a field search for an Integer, Long Integer, Number, or Time field, the Between option contains the non-localized word "and." (55295)
  • The "Paste Folders Only" feature is not available. (55073)
  • Help links redirect to the Introduction page of the documentation. This issue does not affect Firefox. (54554)
  • In the Settings dialog box, under the Export section's File Naming item, you cannot specify non-English characters in the "User this prefix for page numbers" option. (42985)
  • When you switch languages in Web Access Light, it does not automatically account for possible date format changes in existing saved searches. (56625)
  • Web Access Light may not properly display saved search names that contain non-English characters. (56527)
  • The Web Access Light search results page displays "X hit(s) in the electronic document. Hits not shown." in English. (56514)
  • Web Access Light may not properly display document page images when the Web browser's language setting is Turkish. (56521)

  • The width of the Name column cannot be changed. (55487)
  • The breadcrumb may not properly handle long paths. The segments of the breadcrumb cannot be clicked. This issue does not affect Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 3.5. (55481)
  • In the Metadata Preview Pane of the Folder Browser, when you click the < button next to a date field, the drop-down list may not display directly adjacent to the button. This issue does not affect Firefox 3.5. (55437)
  • The date/time format validation message pop-up does not pop-up adjacent to the field. (53532)
  • After switching between the Hijri and Gregorian calendar, you may need to manually refresh the page before the calendar icon loads the correct pop-up calendar. (53393)

Known Issues for the Laserfiche Web Access 8.1 SharePoint Integration Language Packs

  • The Search Configuration Utility displays the names of months and days in English on Windows Server 2008. (55557)
  • In the Web Part, the Web Scanning Language Pack download link is always displayed. (56138)

  • Column names in the Web Part may be left-aligned when using the Arabic Language Pack. (55592)
  • The toolbar for the Web Part may be left-aligned. (55593)
  • Right-clicking a column heading in the Web Part does not load the context menu. This issue does not affect Firefox 3.5. (55594)
  • In the Import dialog box, tabs are left-aligned. (55596)
  • The Tags tab in the Import dialog box does not fully support right-to-left layout. The issue does not affect Firefox 3.5. (55601)
  • The Fields tab in the Import dialog box may not be fully right-aligned. (55602)
  • In the contents pane, the width of the Name column cannot be changed. (56093)
  • the content pane's vertical scrollbar is right-aligned when using Firefox. (56099)
