Plus 8.1

Summary

When viewing a Plus 8.1 published repository, opening a document or folder with a name that contains an upper case accented character (e.g. Ñ, Ã, etc.) may display the following error message:

    Entry not found. [9001]

Resolution

There is a hotfix available. The fix includes updated versions of CrPlus.dll (version 8.1.0.324) and Plus.exe (Version 8.1.0.324)

To update Plus Publisher 8.1

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix files.
  2. Hotfix_SCR54811_53929.zip

  3. On the computer with Plus publisher, replace your existing copies of CrPlus.dll and Plus.exe with the updated versions. By default, CrPlus.dll is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Plus 8.1\Bin" and Plus.exe is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Plus 8.1."

More Information

To prevent the issue from occurring in an already published repository, do the following:

  1. Replace the CrPlus.dll located in the "Bin" subfolder of the published repository's location with the hotfix version of the file.

Note: This workaround requires that the published repository is not hosted on read-only media.
