Current VersionsThe current version of Laserfiche 12, Laserfiche 11, Laserfiche 10.4, and locally installed components of Laserfiche Cloud support the following operating systems (unless otherwise indicated):
Server Operating Systems:
Laserfiche software requires Windows Server with Desktop Experience. Server Core installations of Windows Server operating systems are not supported. Laserfiche will support operating systems through their end of support date as stated by their manufacturer. In cases where this article, the documentation included with the software, and the manufacturer's documentation differ, the manufacturer's end of support date will be used unless otherwise indicated in this article. Self-hosted Laserfiche applications are not containerized. Laserfiche does not support their deployment with Docker, Kubernetes ("K8s"), or other such container technologies.
Desktop Operating Systems:
Home editions of Windows desktop operating systems are not supported. Laserfiche will support operating systems through their end of support date as stated by their manufacturer. In cases where this article, the documentation included with the software, and the manufacturer's documentation differ, the manufacturer's end of support date will be used unless otherwise indicated in this article.
Except for the Laserfiche Integration with Microsoft Teams, locally-installed Laserfiche components are not supported on MacOS. Mac users can use any web-based Laserfiche application functionality that does not require a locally-installed component (e.g., desktop Office Integration, Snapshot, Scanning, etc.).
Web Browsers
Database Engines:
Laserfiche will support database engines through their end-of support date as stated by their manufacturer. In cases where the documentation included with the software, this article and the manufacturer's documentation differ, the manufacturer's end-of support date will be used unless otherwise indicated in this article.
