Summary

This article details hotfix 1012353 for Laserfiche Quick Fields 8.0.1. This patch resolves the following issues:

Note: This hotfix is superseded by Knowledge Base article 1012389.

• When you configure a document class to merge documents and select the Prepend merge action, Quick Fields may reset the action to Append after running the session and storing documents. Quick Fields will now correctly remember the selected merge action.
• When you configure a session to "Send documents to their destination: Immediately," and you do not have the Document Classification add-on, unidentified documents are silently dropped and do not appear under the Unidentified Documents node in the Documents Revision Pane. Quick Fields will now correctly display such unidentified documents under the Unidentified Documents node.
• The Quick Fields 8 Migration Utility may not properly position zoom fields in the migrated session if the sample image has a resolution that is not evenly divisible by 100. The migration utility will now correctly migrate such sessions.

Installation

The fix is a self-contained .exe file that updates the necessary files. The patch includes the following files:

To update Quick Fields 8.0.1

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix.

KB1012353.zip

2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
3. Double-click the extracted "KB1012353.exe" to load the hotfix installer.
4. Click Update to install the hotfix.
