When you attempt to edit an agenda item's Microsoft Office attachment, Agenda Manager 8 does not save your changes.
Agenda Manager allows you to edit Microsoft Office documents directly off the Agenda Manager Server, which saves you from having to download an item to your machine, edit it, save the changes, and upload it. This feature has the following requirements:
- The appropriate Microsoft Office program must be installed on your machine (e.g., to edit a Microsoft Word file, you must have Microsoft Word installed).
- Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) must be installed and enabled in order for the Agenda Manager Server to support editing agenda item attachments. Some versions of IIS require you to manually install and configure this component. Refer to the IIS documentation for more information.
To enable WebDAV in IIS 6
- Load the IIS Manager.
- Click Web Service Extensions.
- Select WebDav and click the Allow button located on the left of the extensions list.
