Laserfiche 8.1 includes the OmniPage 16 OCR engine. Laserfiche 8.0.x and Laserfiche 7.2.1 include the OmniPage 12 OCR engine.

OmniPage 16 introduces a new processing option called "Accuracy." This option can produce OCR results on images that could not be processed previously with OmniPage 12. However, be aware that this new option can greatly reduce processing speed.
