The Document Viewer's thumbnails pane may display the following error message when viewing documents in a converted Laserfiche 5 volume:

Error [6604] loading thumbnail for page x

There may be incompatibilities between the Laserfiche 5 .lft file format and the Laserfiche 8 .lft file format.

Delete the Laserfiche 5 .lft files from the newly converted volumes. Reopen the affected documents from the Laserfiche 8 Client to regenerate the thumbnail files.
