Summary

When you open a document that is already open on your computer in the same Web Access session, you may receive the following error message:

    The parameter is incorrect

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Web Access 8.0.1. The fix is a self-contained Windows Installer patch file (LFWA1012310.msp) that updates the necessary files. The patch file updates the following files:

  • ExportDisplay.aspx (last modified on August 5, 2009)
  • GetExportFile.aspx (last modified on August 5, 2009)
  • StreamingFileExport.aspx (last modified on August 5, 2009)
  • wa80.js (last modified on August 5, 2009)
  • WebAccess.dll (version 8.0.1.715)
  • WebAccessCommon.dll (version 8.0.1.715)

To update Web Access 8.0.1

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the .msp file.

    2. LFWA1012310.zip

  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
  3. Double-click the extracted "LFWA1012310.msp" to load the Web Access 8.0.1 update wizard.
