Summary

When using WebLink 8, you may receive the following error message:

Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED))

Cause

This issue can occur if the IIS ASP.NET mappings are not properly registered or WebLink is not properly installed.

Resolution 1

Use the aspnet_regiis.exe utility to recreate the necessary IIS ASP.NET bindings.

To create the IIS ASP.NET bindings

1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and then click OK to run the aspnet_regiis.exe utility:

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis -i
