Summary

When you attempt to load your Web Access 8.0.x site on Internet Explorer 8, you may receive the following warning message at the top of the page:

To receive the best Laserfiche Web Access experience, please use Internet Explorer 6 or higher, or Firefox 2 or higher. Your current browser may not provide the same experience.

Workaround

Configure Internet Explorer 8 to display the Web Access 8.0.x site in Compatibility View mode.

To enable Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility View mode

1. Open Internet Explorer 8 and browse to the Web Access 8 site.
2. Do one of the following:
• Click the Compatibility View button next to the Address Bar.
• From the Tools menu, click the Compatibility View option.
