Summary

After upgrading to Laserfiche Client 8.1, when you open the Laserfiche Client, you may find that your toolbar has been reset to the default settings.

Resolution 1

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche 8.1.1 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche.

Resolution 2

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Client 8.1. The fix is an updated version of LF.exe (version 8.1.0.466).

Important You must replace this file before opening Laserfiche Client 8.1 for the first time.

To update Laserfiche Client 8.1

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix.
  2. Hotfix_SCR48724.zip

  3. Replace the existing version of LF.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, LF.exe is located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client 8."
