Summary

DocumentProcessor81.dll may not correctly import OCR text when using the OCREngine.OCRMarkedPages method.

This issue affects custom integrations using DocumentProcessor81.dll.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche 8.1. The fix is an updated version of DocumentProcessor81.dll (version 8.1.0.450).

To update DocumentProcessor81.dll

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of DocumentProcessor81.dll.

    2. Hotfix_SCR48680.zip

  2. Replace your existing version of the file with the updated version. The file is located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects." On a 64-bit edition of Windows, the file is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects."
