Summary

Refreshing the folder browser in Internet Explorer may cause the contents pane to become blank. The folder tree also resets back to the root folder of the repository.

Cause

This display issue may occur after installing one of the following .NET Framework Service Packs:

• .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
• .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
• .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Web Access 8.0.1. The fix is an updated version of index.aspx (last modified on March 16, 2009).

To update Web Access 8.0.1

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of index.aspx.

   WebAccess8FolderBrowserHotfix.zip

2. Replace your existing version of index.aspx with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, the file is located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access 8\Web Files."
