Summary

This article includes an updated version of the Laserfiche 8 Migration Wizard for Laserfiche 8.0.2. This hotfix version of the migration wizard corrects the flaw that potentially leads to the issue described in Knowledge Base article 1012156.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche 8.0.2. The fix is an updated version of the migration wizard, Lf8MigrationUtil.exe (version 8.0.2.835).

To update the Laserfiche 8 Migration Wizard

  1. Click one of the following links to download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of the hotfix.

    2. Lf8MigrationUtil_win32.zip

    Lf8MigrationUtil_x64.zip

  2. Replace your existing version of Lf8MigrationUtil.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, the file is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Migration 8."
