- 1012304 Web Access 8.0.x Does Not Support Internet Explorer 8 Without Using The Compatibility View Option
- 1012027 The Web Access 8 Installation May Not Prompt You to Restart You Computer on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. (40370)
- 1012029 The Web Access Shortcuts in the Windows Start Menu May Not Function if Web Access is not Installed on Port 80. (40114)
- Web Access may not smoothly handle displaying search results when the Laserfiche Search Engine's index files are corrupted.

- Clicking OK on the New Document dialog box will close the dialog box. If the creation process fails because you are attempting to create a new document using the parent folder's default volume and there is no default volume set on that folder, you will have to re-specify the relevant document information.
- The preview pane may not be able to display the thumbnail preview for a Unicode document if the appropriate character set is not installed on the web server. (41746)
- You may be unable to launch Web Scanning in Basic Mode in Spanish. Clear your user attributes and Web Access configuration files. (42987)
- The Web Access installation may not correctly install if you uninstall and reinstall Web Access without rebooting after the uninstallation process. (42072)
- Read-only users are unable to change settings. (42359)
- Closing your web browser does not automatically release a connection. You must explicitly use the "log out" option or wait until your session times out. (40451)
- Internet Explorer may contain memory leaks that can impact performance. Please see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base for more information.

- You may be unable to search for Windows accounts or add Windows accounts when configuring security through the Entry Access dialog box if Kerberos is not enabled and correctly configured. (39788)
- When you download a file in Internet Explorer 7, the space character in the file name is changed to a underscore. This is an Internet Explorer 7 issue. Please see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article for more information.

- You cannot cancel a text extraction process. Closing the progress bar will not stop the text extraction process. The document will remain locked until the text extraction process completes. (39111)
- Due to image caching, changes to security that occur while you are currently logged in may not prevent you from viewing documents you have previously viewed during the session. For example, open a document. Then disable the volume that contains the document. You may still be able to view the image pages of the document. (38959)
- Dialog boxes may take a long time to load the first time you load it in an IIS application session.

- Firefox may not read Windows regional settings. This may cause issues with date and time display formats. Please use a region-specific version of Firefox. (38773)
Known Issues for Web Access Light
- The file size download limit on a BlackBerry can prevent you from viewing large images. (41980)
- The import process may silently fail if an existing document with the same name already exists. (43137)
- You may be unable to open a document with 0 pages using the document viewer. (43053)
- By default, the folder browser displays three columns: number of pages, last modification date, and electronic file size). The search results page have the same three columns along with the number of hits. (43046)
- Specifying a page or page range on the download page will override selecting the "All" option when downloading TIFF images. (43224)
- Importing a Laserfiche briefcase file through Web Access Light will import the file as an electronic document. (43189)
