Summary

The Laserfiche 8.0.1 release client is not fully compatible with the LFImageEnable80.dll released with Laserfiche Toolkit 8.0.

Resolution 1

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche Client 8.0.2 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche.

Resolution 2

The Laserfiche Client must be version 8.0.1.760 or later to fully support LFImageEnable80.dll. There is a hotfix available to upgrade to Laserfiche Client 8.0.1.760. The fix includes an updated version of LF.exe and LFAuxEl80.dll.

To upgrade Laserfiche Client 8.0.1

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing versions 8.0.1.760 of LF.exe and LFAuxEl80.dll.

   Laserfiche_Client_8.0.1.760.zip

2. Close any open instances of the Laserfiche Client.
3. Replace your existing versions of LF.exe and LFAuxEl80.dl located in your Laserfiche Client installation folder with the updated versions included in the zip file. By default, the Laserfiche Client is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client 8."
