Summary

The Workflow installations may be unable to automatically create the necessary Windows Message Queuing queues during the installation process on non-English versions of Microsoft Windows.

Resolution

Verify that the following two Message Queuing queues exist on the computers hosting the Workflow Server and the Workflow Subscriber:

  • lfwfcreatequeue
  • lfwfnotifyqueue

If necessary, manually create the listed queues.

To manually create the Laserfiche Workflow Message Queuing queues

  1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Computer Management.
  4. Expand Services and Applications.
  5. Expand Message Queuing.
  6. Click Private Queues.
  7. From the Action menu, point to New and select Private Queue.
  8. Name the queue:

    lfwfcreatequeue

  9. Select the Transactional check box.
  10. Click OK to create the queue.
  11. After creating the queue, select the queue and select the Properties option from the Action menu.
  12. Click the Security tab.
  13. Grant Full Control to Everyone.
  14. Click OK to save your changes.
  15. If necessary, repeat the previous steps with:

    lfwfnotifyqueue
