Laserfiche Server 8.0.1.749 Hotfix

• The Laserfiche Server may become unstable when accessing shortcuts where the source entry is being deleted. This issue is now resolved. (42029)
• Kerberos authentication may not properly function when using the 64-bit version of LFSO80.dll. This can prevent you from logging in to your repository through Windows authentication when using the 64-bit version of the Laserfiche Workflow Designer. This issue is now resolved with the updated version of LFSO80.dll. (41401)
• 1012062 A "Received unexpected null value. (779)" Error Occurs When Connecting to Laserfiche. (41368)
• The "Cancel merge and display error" option may not correctly function when merging fields of different types. Data loss could occur during the merge process. This issue is now resolved. (41316)
• 1012055 Enabling Dongle Support for Laserfiche 8.0.1. (41874, 41280)
• The Laserfiche Full Text Search Engine now locks the idx files when loading the search index. Previously, other applications, such as a backup utility, could load and lock the idx files and prevent the Laserfiche Search Engine from accessing the files. (41179)
• In certain situations when using Oracle, moving documents could potentially return an error 9008. The Windows Event Viewer would contain messages involving the move_doc2 stored procedure. This issue is now resolved. (41171)
• The Laserfiche Client could become unstable when opening a document that does not contain a page 0. This issue is now resolved with the updated version of LFSO80.dll. (37034)

Updating LFSO80.dll

Fixes involving the updated version of LFSO require that the updated version of LFSO be accessible to the desired client program. The Laserfiche Server 8.0.1.749 installation package includes the updated version of LFSO. Perform one of the following two options to obtain a copy of LFSO80.dll (version 8.0.1.747) for any workstation computers.

• Update your Laserfiche Server installation and then copy the appropriate version of LFSO80.dll to the necessary workstations. If you are running the 64-bit version of Laserfiche Server, the 64-bit version of LFSO80.dll is located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects" and the 32-bit version of LFSO80.dll is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects." If you are running the 32-bit version of Laserfiche Server, the 32-bit version of LFSO80.dll is located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects."
