Summary

Quick Fields 7.1.2 may not properly support the automatic color detection feature in Kofax VirtualReScan (VRS).

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Quick Fields 7.1.2. The fix includes an updated version of LFKofaxCom.dll (version 7.2.1.1) and relies on VRS 4.1 with Service Pack 2 or VRS 4.2.

To update Quick Fields 7.1.2

1. You must be using VRS 4.1 with Service Pack 2 or VRS 4.2.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of LFKofaxCom.dll.

   Hotfix_SCR26275.zip

3. Replace your existing version of LFKofaxCom.dll with the version included in the zip file. By default, the file is located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\LFKofaxCom."
