Summary

When scanning into an existing document with 0 pages, the displayed page count for scanned pages may default to the start value specified in the Insert New Pages dialog box for a previous scanning session.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Scanning 7.2.1. The fix includes and updated version of LFScanEng.dll (version 7.2.1.10) and LFScan.exe (version 7.2.1.10).

To update Laserfiche Scanning 7.2.1

1. Close any open instances of Laserfiche Scanning.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix files.

3. Replace your existing versions of LFScan.exe and LFScanEng.dll with the updated versions included in the zip file. By default, the files are located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Scanning."
