Laserfiche 7 and Laserfiche 8

File Name Description
Lfconfig.idx Stores the set of noise words.
Lfword.idx Stores a record of each term in the search catalog. This makes up the search lexicon. Each record also contains a reference to lflink.idx.
Lflink.idx Stores the number of occurrences in each document for every term in the lexicon.
Lfdel.idx Stores information on each deleted or reindexed document in the repository. Laserfiche uses this file to filter out obsolete data from search results.

File Name Description
Lfmap.idx Stores information on retrieving the starting document word number and offset for each page.
Lfoffsetlink.idx Stores information on retrieving document character offsets from word numbers.
Ntp.idx Stores information on retrieving the number of terms in a document.
Q.dat Stores information on the index queue and other pending catalog operations.
