| File Name | Description |
| Lfconfig.idx | Stores the set of noise words. |
| Lfword.idx | Stores a record of each term in the search catalog. This makes up the search lexicon. Each record also contains a reference to lflink.idx. |
| Lflink.idx | Stores the number of occurrences in each document for every term in the lexicon. |
| Lfdel.idx | Stores information on each deleted or reindexed document in the repository. Laserfiche uses this file to filter out obsolete data from search results. |
