Summary

When unregistering a repository from the Laserfiche 8 Administration Console, you may receive the following error message:

Repository was not found (9046)

Cause

This error can occur when you are unregistering a repository that no longer exists.

Resolution

Manually unregister the repository by removing the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\Repositories\RepositoryName

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\LFFTS\DataBase\RepositoryName

After removing the listed registry keys, restart your Laserfiche Server service.
