Workflow Suite 8.0

Summary

This article details Patch LFWF101197 for Laserfiche Workflow Suite 8.0.0. This patch resolves several known issues with the initial Laserfiche Workflow 8.0.0 release and adds the Has Changed condition type.

Note: If you download Laserfiche Workflow 8 after 5/19/08, or you install the software using an installation CD, the contents of this patch are included with your installation.

Patch Contents

Patch LFWF1011979 consists of the following.

  • Wait and routing conditions can now evaluate fields using a Has Changed condition type. If there is no initial value in the field, the condition is treated as an Is Not Empty condition.
  • In some situations, the Assign Template activity would terminate a workflow if the activity was not also configured to populate one or more field values. This issue has been resolved.
  • In some situations, there was a display issue when configuring the Route Entry to Group activity to select a group based on the value of a token. Specifically, the Routing Activity Options dialog box failed to display the token correctly. This was a Workflow Designer display issue only, as the activity performed correctly. This issue has been resolved.
  • In some situations, the Routing Decision activity did not perform correctly when interacting with tokens associated with the name of an entry. The issue has been resolved.
  • In some situations, Folder: Contents wait conditions were not retained correctly. Once they were configured and the corresponding dialog box was closed, these conditions would sometimes disappear. This issue has been resolved.
