This article documents the known issues with Laserfiche Workflow 8.0.
Known Issues
- 1012002 A Running Workflow Pauses for Five Minutes.
- The Route to Group activity does not route documents to groups that contain both Windows users and Laserfiche users. To resolve this issue, associate the Windows users with Laserfiche accounts or route to a group that only contains one type of user.
- The Route to User activity allows you to route documents to users without working folders. These users will not actually receive routed documents until you assign them a working folder.
- The Workflow Subscriber Tray incorrectly reports the setting of a template in a Laserfiche repository as Unset Template Field Value. This error is cosmetic only and will not affect performance.
- At certain zoom settings, the Workflow Designer's Print Preview feature may generate more page previews and use more system resources than necessary. To resolve this issue, quit the Workflow Designer and change Print Preview's zoom value.
- After receiving a Profile in Use error, the Workflow Designer may not allow you to cancel out of the Profile Editor. To resolve this issue, modify the profile name to be unique and click Cancel.
- At certain zoom settings, you may receive an unhandled exception error when scrolling through a large workflow. To resolve this issue, click Continue and try scrolling again.
- You may receive an unhandled exception error when clicking from another application directly onto a Workflow 8 activity in the Designer Pane. To resolve this issue, restart the Workflow Designer.
- If you do not have a printer installed on a Windows Server 2008 machine, the Print Dialog box may not appear.
- The Workflow Designer may display irregularly on high-contrast black Windows themes.
- The %(Parent) token is not listed in the Workflow Designer's token drop-down box. To use this token, manually enter it.
- If you update (i.e., edit and re-publish) a workflow that contains a Routing Decision activity, your changes will not apply to any instances of the workflow that are currently executing a step within this activity.
- Conditions containing tokens that reference a document's name may need to be re-configured if the workflow is renamed. To resolve this issue, click on the condition in a Condition Editor, select Token, select the new document name, and select a token. This known issue does not affect conditions associated with entry or template token conditions.
- If you do not have a default connection profile set, you will be unable to select a connection profile when configuring a starting rule. As a workaround, ensure you have specified a default connection profile by selecting Tools, Options, Laserfiche Connection in the Workflow Designer. (38240)
