Summary

When using a Kodak i-series scanner, after scanning the last page in the feeder, the feeder may continue running for several additional seconds.

Workaround

You can configure a shorter transport timeout period for the scanner.

To configure the transport timeout

1. Load Laserfiche Scanning.
2. Load the Scanner Options dialog box. In basic scanning mode, the Scanner Options item is under the File menu. In standard scanning mode, the Scanner Options item is under the Scan menu.
3. Click the Scanner tab.
4. Modify the Transport Timeout setting to the desired value. By default, the value is set to 8 seconds. The option supports a minimum value of 3 seconds.
