Web Access 7

Summary

Web Access allows you to specify a URL that links to a specific folder.

More Information

In order to directly open a folder, you can pass a query with the necessary parameters to the index.asp page. The URL syntax is as follows:

http://hostname/Laserfiche/index.asp?startid=x&dbid=db

Hostname is the name of the computer hosting Web Access. The value x specifies the ID of the desired folder. The value db specifies the dbid value of the Web Access repository configuration you want to use. If your Web Access installation only has one repository configuration, you do not need to specify the dbid parameter.

Note: You can view the dbid for a repository configuration by loading the Web Access Administrator's Utility.

Note: You can view the ID number for a folder by configuring the Web Access folder browser to display the ID column.
