Basic Scanning Mode May Leave Temporary Files in your Windows User Temp Folder.

August 27, 2007 | KB: 1011874
Laserfiche 7.2.1, Scanning 7.2.1

Summary

When scanning documents, Laserfiche Scanning will create temporary files in your Windows user temporary folder. After sending your documents to your Laserfiche repository, Laserfiche Scanning automatically deletes these temporary files. However, when you use Basic Scanning, it may not fully remove all the temporary files created in the temporary folder.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Scanning 7.2.1. The fix is an updated version of LFSOutputProcess.dll (version 7.2.1.1).
