Summary

When using Import Agent 7.0.X to import .lst files, field values in the list file that are over 100 characters may be silently truncated when importing electronic documents.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Import Agent 7.0.2. The fix is an updated version of DocumentProcessor11.dll (version 1.1.0.4)

To update Import Agent 7.0.2

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of DocumentProcessor11.dll.
   Hotfix_SCR30902.zip
2. Stop the Laserfiche Import Agent 7 service.
   1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
   2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
   3. Double-click Services.
   4. Select Laserfiche Import Agent 7.
   5. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks and select Stop.
3. Replace your existing version of DocumentProcessor11.dll with the hotfix version. By default, DocumentProcessor11.dll is located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects."
4. Register the new version of DocumentProcessor11.dll.
   1. Click Start and then click Run.
   2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and click OK to register the file:

      regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects\DocumentProcessor11.dll"

5. Restart the Import Agent service.
   1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
   2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
   3. Double-click Services.
   4. Select Laserfiche Import Agent 7.
   5. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks and select Start.
