Summary

When you install Laserfiche Snapshot, you may receive the following error message:

dAddPrinterDriver2, Error code: 126

Cause

This error can occur if the affected computer has an incomplete system Path variable.

Resolution

Manually add %SystemRoot%\system32, %SystemRoot%, and %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem to your computer's system Path variable.

To modify the system Path variable

1. Click Start, right-click on My Computer, and select Properties.
2. In the System Properties dialog, click on the Advanced tab.
3. Click on the Environment Variables button.
4. Under the System variables section, select the "Path" variable and click Edit.
5. Make sure the following paths are part of the variable value:

   %SystemRoot%\system32

   %SystemRoot%

   %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem

6. Click OK to save your changes.
7. Restart your computer.
