An "unknown internal error" Occurs When Using Quick Fields Agent to Run a Session with a Form Extractor Process.

Summary

When Quick Fields Agent attempts to run a scheduled session that contains a Form Extractor process, you may receive the following error message for each page:

    unknown internal error

The session runs without errors if you run it manually from Quick Fields.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Quick Fields 7.1.2. The fix is an updated version of QFContainer.exe (version 7.1.2.3).

To update Quick Fields 7.1.2

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of QFContainer.exe.

  2. Close any open instances of Laserfiche Quick Fields.
  3. Replace the existing version of QFContainer.exe located in your Quick Fields installation folder with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, Quick Fields is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Quick Fields."
