Summary
When scanning, you may receive the following error message:
Error: OmniPage® OCR1: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread.
After storing the scanned document(s), you can successfully OCR the document(s) from the Laserfiche client.
Workaround
Change the Scanning Mode and Scan Source. If you are using Basic mode, switch to Standard mode. Similarly, if you are currently using Standard mode, switch to Basic mode.
After switching Scanning Mode, select a different Scan Source. For example, if you are using Kofax, switch to using Universal Capture.
Try scanning a document. If you do not receive the above error, the issue should be resolved. Switch back to your original Scanning Mode and Scan Source settings.
