When you use the Send Message option in the Laserfiche Administration Console to send a message to users currently connected to your Laserfiche Server, no message is sent or no message is received. You may receive the following error message when sending a message:

Unable to send message to ComputerName (50).

This feature uses the Net Send component of the Messenger service. The Messenger service no longer exists in Windows Vista. This feature is not supported when using the Laserfiche Administration Console on Windows Vista.
