Summary

When you Snapshot a large document, you may receive message prompts asking you whether you wish to continue waiting for the print job.

Resolution

On the computer where the Laserfiche Snapshot printer is installed, try increasing the txTimeout DWORD value under the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\Laserfiche Snapshot 7" registry key.

Warning: Incorrectly editing the registry may adversely affect your system. Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs.

To modify the txTimeout registry value

1. Click Start and then click Run
2. Type the following and then click OK to load the Windows Registry Editor.

   regedt32

3. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
4. Expand SYSTEM.
5. Expand CurrentControlSet.
6. Expand Control.
7. Expand Print.
8. Expand Printers.
9. Select the Laserfiche Snapshot 7 key.
10. On the right, scroll down and double-click the txTimeout DWORD value.
11. Specify the desired timeout limit in milliseconds.
