Summary

The Integrator's Toolkit 7.1 installation package(s) only registers files for the user that runs the installation. If a different user then logs on to that computer and attempts to run your toolkit application, they may receive an error similar to the following:

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx} failed due to the following error: 80040154 (error #-2147221164}

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the installation package(s) included with the Integrator's Toolkit 7.2 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of the Integrator's Toolkit.

Workaround

If you do not wish to upgrade to the Integrator's Toolkit 7.2.x, you can manually register the files.
