Changes to Daylight Saving Time Starting in 2007 Can Affect Laserfiche Server (version 5 and 6) when the TZ Environment System Variable is Set.

Laserfiche Server 5, Laserfiche Server - Team (MSDE) 6, Laserfiche Server - United (MS SQL) 6

Summary

The United States Daylight Saving Time change in 2007 can potentially affect Laserfiche Server 5 and Laserfiche Server 6 (version 6.02 and earlier) if the TZ environment system variable is set on the computer hosting your Laserfiche Server.

More Information

By default, the TZ environment variable is not set on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. However, if the TZ environment variable is set, document creation and modification dates will be off by 1 hour during the new four weeks of the extended Daylight Saving Time. You may have set the TZ environment variable if you are using a version of Laserfiche Server 6 prior to version 6.03.
