Summary
By default, standalone editions of Laserfiche 7 (Desktop, Executive, Notebook) include MSDE. However, you can choose to use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.

You must install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition before you install a standalone edition of Laserfiche. During the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition installation, make sure that you use the following instance name:
LASERFICHE
After you have installed SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, the installation package for your standalone edition of Laserfiche will be able to create a repository.
