Summary

The Laserfiche Line Removal image enhancement did not correctly remove certain types of vertical lines.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Quick Fields 7.1.2 and Laserfiche Scanning 7.2.1. The fix is an updated version of LFLineRemoval.dll (version 7.0.0.7).

To update the line removal process

1. Close any open instances of Laserfiche Quick Fields or Laserfiche Scanning.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing an updated version of LFLineRemoval.dll.
   Hotfix_SCR28985.zip
3. Replace your existing version of LFLineRemoval.dll located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\LFLineRemoval" with the updated version included in the zip file.
4. Register the new dll.
   1. Click Start and then click Run.
   2. Type the following and then click OK.

      regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\LFLineRemoval\LFLineRemoval.dll"
