Summary

When you attempt to publish an agenda packet with attached reports that are multi-page TIFF files, you may receive the following error message:

An error occurred during agenda packet creation.

Error: There was an error while creating the packet: Error occurred while appending report "YourReportName" of item "YourAgendaItem": Rebuild failed: Error reading string at file pointer 3; Original message: PDF startxref not found..
Error code: 0x80040082

Cause

In certain situations, Agenda Manager did not generate a valid PDF file from multi-page TIFF files.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Agenda Manager 7.2. The fix is an updated version of AMServer.exe (version 7.2.0.101).

To update Agenda Manager 7.2

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing an updated version of AMServer.exe.
   Hotfix_SCR29299.zip
2. Stop the Agenda Manager Service.
   1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
   2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
   3. Double-click Services.
   4. Scroll down and select Laserfiche Agenda Manager Service.
   5. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks and click Stop.
3. Replace your existing version of AMServer.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, AMServer.exe is located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Agenda Manager Server."
4. Restart the Agenda Manager Service.
   1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
   2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
   3. Double-click Services.
   4. Scroll down and select Laserfiche Agenda Manager Service.
   5. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks and click Start.
