You must configure regional settings on both the computer hosting Laserfiche Server and the computer where you are using the Laserfiche client.

- Double-click the Regional and Language Options option.
- On the Regional Options tab, select Arabic under the Standards and formats section.
- On the Advanced tab, select Arabic under the Language for non-Unicode programs section.
- Click OK to save your changes.
- Laserfiche Client:
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Double-click the Regional and Language Options option.
- On the Advanced tab, select Arabic under the Language for non-Unicode programs section.
- Click OK to save your changes.
For Windows 2000
- Laserfiche Server:
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Double-click the Regional and Language Options option.
- On the General tab, select Arabic in the Settings for the current user section.

- Laserfiche Client:
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Double-click the Regional and Language Options option.
- On the General tab, under the Language settings for the system locale section, click on Set default and choose Arabic.
You must restart your Laserfiche Server 7 service after you complete your changes. You must also remember to restart your Laserfiche Server 7 service each time you restart the computer hosting the Laserfiche Server.
Note: Please note that the specific region does not matter. For example, the "Arabic (Lebanon)" regional setting functions the same as the "Arabic (Saudi Arabia)" regional setting.
