Summary

When your session is configured such that a process with local image enhancements is followed by either the OmniPage Zone OCR, Omnipage OCR, or Laserfiche Rotate processes, the first process' local image enhancements become permanent.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Quick Fields 7.1.2. The fix is an updated version of OmniOCRWrapper.dll (version 7.2.1.3).

To update Quick Fields 7.1.2

1. Close any applications that may be using the OmniPage OCR engine.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing OmniOCRWrapper.dll (version 7.2.1.3).
   Hotfix_SCR28999
3. Replace your existing version of OmniOCRWrapper.dll located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\BPOmniOCR" with the updated version contained in the zip file.
4. Register the new file.
   1. Click Start and then click Run.
   2. Type the following and then click OK:

      regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\BPOmniOCR\OmniOCRWrapper.dll"
