When scanning color or grayscale images, you may receive the following error message:

Unsupported Bit Depth

Cause

The Deskew, Despeckle, and Smooth image clean-up options only support monochrome (black and white) images. If you are scanning color or grayscale images, please disable the Deskew, Despeckle, and Smooth options.
