Summary

When you attempt to configure the document properties for an unidentified document, you may receive the following error message when you attempt to set a volume:

After you receive the error message, Quick Fields may unexpectedly exit.

There is a hotfix available for Quick Fields 7.1.2. The fix is an updated version of lfapicom70.dll (version 7.0.1.20).

To update Quick Fields 7.1.2

1. Close any open instances of Quick Fields.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing an updated version of lfapicom70.dll.
   Hotfix_SCR28758.zip
3. Replace the existing version of lfapicom70.dll located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFAPI" with the updated version included in the zip file.
4. Register lfapicom70.dll.
   1. Click Start and then click Run.
   2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and click OK to register the file.

      regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFAPI\lfapicom70.dll"
